Health workers are essential to equitable health systems, emphasizing the role of public health professions schools in achieving development goals. However, measuring inequities in health workforce distribution and assessing how training institutions address these disparities remain key challenges.
This study examined health workforce inequities in the Philippines and evaluated the impact of the University of the Philippines Manila-School of Health Sciences (UPM-SHS) admission policies on workforce distribution. The institution is a founding member of the Training for Health Equity Network (THEnet).
